SOCIAL MEDIA:
TRAINER IN TRAINING
This winter, I decided to broaden my social media expertise by diving into TikTok. Although my clients weren't particularly interested in the platform, I saw it as a great opportunity to explore. Combining my passions for fitness and marketing, I began posting fitness content on both Instagram and TikTok.
My goal was to learn the platform's nuances and see how I could thrive in a highly saturated market. Additionally, I wanted to push my own comfort boundaries with video content, understanding firsthand the challenges my clients faced. Many of them were quite nervous about being on camera, so I wanted to experience that discomfort to better support and guide them in the future. Setting up a tripod in the gym and filming my workouts was a bit of a process, but it turned out to be fun and rewarding with persistence.

future goals
This project will remain ongoing for the next several months. During that time, I plan to continue priority on TikTok content to increase engagement. I am currently looking for a solution to break the 300-view avg and move to the next level. Once that goal is achieved, I will shift focus to building up my Instagram reach and engagement. As of right now, Instagram is underperforming due to a lack of time and priority. I am hoping to achieve these goals by December of 2023.
